All OF sites require a site introduction/orientation BEFORE attempting to fly the site for the first time. Contact any Ohio Flyer pilot for the name and contact info for the site safety representative for the site of interest. You must be a member of both Ohio Flyers and USHPA to fly our sites.


Flying USHPA-insured OhioFlyer sites requires that:
•USHPA and OF memberships are current,
•You possess the minimum USHPA rating required to fly the site.
•The OF application is complete and on file
•All applicable risk waivers are complete...

USHPA-insured OF sites:
-Richmond Dale (link below)
-WesMar (link below)
-Carey's (link below)
-Edgewater Park (link and info coming)

Edgewater Park (near Cleveland, OH) has additional requirements:
•Minimum rating: USHPA H3 or better; P3 or better (or P2 with a spotter)
•Complete a Clevelend Metroparks Waiver and provide it to Brian Fowler*
•Contact Brian Fowler* directly to arrange payment of fees for a required annual permit ($35 per year per pilot; good through 31Dec)
•Forms and payment required three weeks before intended flight date
•Site orientation required. For Edgewater, contact one of the following:
....PG pilots: contact Brian Fowler* or Jon Kelly*
....HG pilots: contact Felipe Amunategui *

Also note:
Edgewater only works when the winds are N to NE.
Flights are prohibited on typically busy days, like holidays or special event days
