That's pretty cool. We'll have to keep an eye out for the consumer version! Hopefully Flytec is on it......

We can have Dr. Thog check to see if we can purchase one as a club? Maybe get everyone to cough up a buck or two to help defray.....

Anyone had enough snow yet?

When they come out with the cheaper recreational version, a club owned one wouldn't be a bad idea. It would be a great safety device for determining launching intervals when it is gusty and perhaps it could help people in the air, if a ground-based person could radio up to them that there is vertical movement a couple hundred yards to the South.

I'll chip in five. So now we only need 29,000 more donations. I would say that I am so sick of this snow I could scream. However, I have screamed at the snow several times. Hey don't judge me. It had it coming!!

I believe that would be 29,999 more donations. Not that it really matters..... And did the snow talk back?

It would be cheaper for us to capture a couple turkey vultures and hire a professional trainer to train them to snoop out thermals for us. Plus we'd probably get more national attention with our trained vultures. Dress them up in t-shirts that say "Eat my vortices" or something like that.

To adapt Ollie's way of making things happen ... Mark, you came up with the idea, you've appointed yourself personally responsible for making sure it such a unique thought doesn't go to waste. You can inform us at the annual meeting of your progress ...
