Done.

I make the shortcut to IE by right clicking on the desktop and clicking on "New", put the URL in, etc..., then go back and right-click on the shortcut, go to properties and change the icon, but like I said, the 1st time I go to the site using the shortcut, the icon changes to the one you setup on the site.

Could you change it to the ohioflyers1.ico on the website too, so that it is used for the shortcuts??? I like that one too!

Does anybody know how to keep the icon that you set permanent, so that it isn't overwritten by the one on the web site???

I'm not sure what you mean, Mike.

The one on the website is set to ohioflyers1.ico. When I set the icon in my shortcut to anything else, it stays that way, it doesn't get changed.

If anything, when I change the icon on the website, it doesn't reflect in IE unless I delete my IE's temporary files, then it refreshes. Same goes for Firefox.

Hmmm! In IE7 I open the page, click on the desktop and the icon switches to the small one with the white background. Whatever...I'm good for now!

I'm using IE8, but that shouldn't make a difference. Or would it?
