Default WesMar last weekend

Saturday blown out. Ckecked out Bob Deter's Sport 2 175 and then the Ratclifburgh site. Sunday, Bruce Tran new student made uneven progress on the Condor then Willie towed Matt McCoy, Dan Miner, Felix Johnston and me until it turned on in the late afternoon and we all had extended flights near a half hour long with 2600 ft being the best gain. The day ended with big grins on all faces.

John or Larry, do you have a report on the potential for Ratcliffburg as a site?

The hill in front of launch looks too close to fly the site in soarable conditions. Attached is a photo looking west from launch.

Larry, that does look close. Do you think there is any chance that it wouldn't be turbulent where the air coming off the hill in front could act like a wave, bouncing off the valley floor and forcing it up the hillside which could actually enhace the lift??? Doubtful I know, but it is wishful thinking.
