Talking Easter Saturday at WesMar

No flying took place, but I still have to brag ... on John A.

We spent most of the afternoon and evening tweaking my Pulse trying to get the spiral tendency and purpoising (sp?) under control. And we did it!!! John test flew the wing a few weeks ago, after I reinstalled the sail (with its new LE) and side wires, to find out the wing was flying poorly, was no fun to fly and quite frankly was rather scary.

So now I finally have good air worthy wing!

Huge thanks to John A, Wes for the metal work in his shop, his neighbor Larry for a good advice, and Mark T. for lending us his Pulse for comparison! Mark with Donna and Bob D stopped by during the day and landed a hand.

I'll see ya all in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!!

Congratulations Michal and way to go John! John, I wonder what particular issue you thought was the main culprit?

Mark

Default Michal's wing

I think it was the leading edge sail tension. We just shimed it out to match your wing. We also rotated the mylar down inside the pocket to clean up the tip a bit. The mylar acts like it wants to migrate around so I think the addition of some velcro will help. Thanks again Mark for all your help. Remember I owe you for the glider bag.
